Our policies are straightforward. Please inspect items in store as we cannot offer a refund or exchange due to the nature of the business.

TERMS & CONDITIONS

Some of the items might accidentally travel from one stall to another and the staff will do their best to return everything back to their original stall. This doesn't mean these items won't be on sale. As long as they are in store, customers are able to buy them.

​

All items are for sale at Monday Market at your own risk and any lost or damaged items will not be compensated.

 

We provide 10 complimentary security tags and we strongly suggest using them. It's important to know that even though we do our best that your clothes are safe with us, Monday Market takes no responsibility if an item is lost/ stolen/damaged or if there is a fire, water damage or other factors undependable on us.

 

Payment in full must be made at the time of booking. Rack rentals that are cancelled less than 14 days prior the rental commences, are non-refundable.

If a stall holder wants to withdraw clothes from sale or cancel the rack rental during the rental period, no refunds are issued for unused days

The allocated rack location is not guaranteed and can sometimes be reallocated to suit business needs.

 

*Please note Monday Market closes on weekdays Monday to Friday for lunch break between 12noon-12.30pm. During this time the store is not accessible*

Monday Market reserves the right to change these terms and conditions at any time.

 

MINI RACKS

are allowed up  to 30 items + 4 pairs of shoes.

​

SMALL RACKS

are allowed up  to 40-45 items + 5 pairs of shoes.

​

MEDIUM RACKS

are allowed up to 60 items + 5 pairs of shoes. If you don’t have many shoes to sell, you are welcome to bring handbags instead.

​

LARGE RACKS

are allowed up to 80-100 items and up to 5 pairs of shoes. Please note if you have very long garments, shoes might not be visible.

8% commission is applicable on the total value of all sales, after your rack rental cost has been covered

Our stall holders are allowed to put 1 item in during their rental week if there is space

PACK UP SERVICE

$20 /small rack

$40/medium and large rack

Once the rental agreement is finished, we pack your clothes for you. All you need to do is pick them up.​

​

If you have bulky garments for example coats etc, you might not be able to fit the allocated amount of garments. It is a good idea to not fill your racks too full as it will be more attractive to shoppers.

​

*We cannot guarantee the authenticity of items in store, therefore if you want to bring any designer items for sale, we strongly advise you authenticate them before bringing them in. If staff suspects an item is claimed to be genuine, and it cannot be proven, we reserve the right to withdraw the item from sale. We offer no refunds/exchanges for our shoppers, so it is the shoppers responsibility to authenticate the item prior to purchasing it*

STRICTLY NOTHING ON FLOORS for fire safety reasons, please. If anything is found placed on the floor they will be removed and can be claimed from behind the till. If unsure what this means, please talk to a member of staff.

 

BEFORE YOU START YOUR RACK RENTAL Make sure you wash your clothes before bringing the items for sale. No one likes stinky clothes and if we find any, chances are they will be removed and put in our storage room to be collected. No faulty items allowed. We reserve the right to remove any items from sale that we believe to be dirty/faulty/unfit for sale.

 

PRICING GUIDELINE $10-$15 for t-shirts, $15-$25 for blouses, $15-$35 for dresses, $25-$50 for jackets/coats depending on the brand. If you have brand new items with tags, -70% of the original price is recommended. Popular brands are Country Road, Seed, Zara, Kookai, Mr Zimi, Shona Joy, Bec & Bridge to name a few.

DURING YOUR RACK RENTAL

You can come and set up your rack from 9.30AM on weekdays and 10.00am on weekends. Please pop in to refill your rack as many times as you want. You can follow your sales online in real time-be warned as it's very addictive! 

​

If you want to discount your whole rack with a certain percentage, for example -30% on all items for your last 2 days of rental, please do so via your Zellr account (via browser, not an app) and please let us know by calling us, so that we know to place a discount signage on your rack. Please note these discounts carry on to your next rental automatically, and if you don't want to continue with the discount, you can change the discount percentage back to '0' on your product sheets. Please note only one discount percentage per booking is allowed.

If you only have few items you want to discount, we recommend you to print new price tags for the items you want to discount. Please note we don't accept any handwritten discounted price tags. If you wish, you can write for example 'was $50' with a texter next to the new price to make it more visible for shoppers that the item has been discounted.

WHEN YOUR RACK RENTAL FINISHES

Racks needs to be emptied on the last day of the rental agreement finishing between 3.30pm-4.00pm on weekdays and between 3.00pm-3.30pm on weekends. In case the stall holder is unable to come and collect the items you must organize alternative ways for the unsold items to be picked up. There is an additional charge of $20-$40 if our staff packs your items if they were not collected on the day your rental finished. It is up to the stall holder to remember the starting and finishing dates (these dates can be checked on our online app). If the clothes are not collected within 7 days of rack rental finishing, they will become a property of Monday Market and will be disposed at our discretion. Hangers are strictly to be left at the racks when finishing your rack rental. When packing away your clothes please do so carefully by checking each price tag to make sure they belong to you. Also please check the fitting room rack so that nothing is left behind. If we find any items floating around after you finish your rental, we will notify you by phone and the item/s will be kept for 14 days in our storage room. If you hired security tags, please request a member of the staff to take them off before going through the gates.  We aim to pay the profits within 5-7 working days after your rack rental finishes to the stall holders nominated bank account. We take no responsibility if a stall holder has provided incorrect account details by mistake. STRICTLY NO CASH PAYMENTS.

Please note we are closed during public holidays.
